How to read this book
Comment in the margin. Select any passage and the discussion sidebar opens. How to comment in the margins is a five-minute walkthrough.
Cite a paragraph. Paragraphs are numbered in the margin. Click a number to copy a link to that paragraph; the ¶ Numbers button under each page’s title hides or shows them.
Suggest an edit. Found a typo, a broken reference, or a paragraph that does not explain what it should? Every page carries a Suggest an edit button; no account is needed. Every page also has an Edit on GitHub link that opens the page’s source, where anyone with a free GitHub account can propose a change. A maintainer reviews everything before it reaches the book.
